Blogs are wonderful. The only issue I have is that I forget that I have a blog going on and so my posts are few and far between. I work and travel. You'd think I had a lot to talk about, and I do. So as Capt. Mel Fisher once said while him and his crew were looking for the sunken treasure of the Atocha, "Today is the day..." Do you know what? One day, just like any other day, it was the day.

As the story goes, one of his divers ran across a large reef. He saw a sparkle between the growth. He pulled out his knife and scratched off the urchins and it was a gold bar... He looked at the reef... At that moment he realized that the entire reef was the motherload from the Atocha. All the gold bars were sitting there, all stacked and ready to be taken home. JACKPOT." So don't forget this story and use the phrase, "Today is the Day."
In another week, I'll be on a cruise ship for a couple of weeks. I have a friend, Slam Allen that plays in a trio aboard ship. We met a few years back and Pat and I love his show and the way he rips the riffs of some great blues tunes. Sam keeps the audience on thir toes as he plays. He'll stop in the middle of a tune to discuss what an audience membere may be doing or just to keep the crowd on their toes. Pure entertainment from a seasoned pro. He's on Viking and they are a very lucky cruise line to have him aboard.
So I'll be in touch and do my best to keep the Magic Happening.
Oh yea, I'll keep you posted here and slap up some pics as they are available.
Light & Magic...
